Shaikh Rashid Alam

Country Manager

We are fortunate to be living in an era where the entire world has transformed into a global village, thanks to the internet. The 21st century has gifted us many innovations, but somehow, it has also diluted the standards of quality to a certain extent. Recognizing the best is now more difficult than ever before, but thanks to the concept and ideology behind the introduction of “brands”, this conundrum has been solved to a great extent. We can safely assume that a brand will remain the same, irrespective of the country or the place. The same concept has been implemented by Who’s Who. The institution identifies people and transforms them into a brand. This helps professionals carve a niche for themselves in the global marketplace and so, it gives my immense joy to see Who’s Who in Pakistan, helping our local professionals transform into globally recognizable personal brands.

Who’s Who takes on the responsibility of simplifying communications and networking between stellar professionals from various walks of life. And this is the reason why I am overjoyed to know that dedicated and seasoned professionals from Pakistan now have an international stage to showcase their achievements and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their peers from other countries. The first award ceremony of Who’s Who Pakistan on June 03, 2016, at Governor House Karachi, just goes to show that Pakistani professionals have what it takes to compete on a global scale and collaborate with other likeminded individuals from different walks of life to make the world a better place for everybody. I congratulate every winner of this esteemed award and I sincerely hope that Who’s Who Pakistan will continue with its tradition of discovering great minds and recognizing them for their contribution to the overall greater society.
